Keepsake Jewellery FAQ

Breastmilk - Please send only 10ml of breastmilk for preserving, no extra is required. Please ensure the milk is defrosted. Your preserved breastmilk will be kept for safe keeping and future orders in-house, We do not send extra preserved milk back. Breastmilk will need to be double bagged, Breastmilk bags are best but 2 or 3 zip lock bags will do. 

Hair -  As little as 1 strand to a snippet is all that is required. Please tie the hair at the top with a thin ribbon or cotton. Left over hair will be returned with your keepsake jewellery. The look of your crafted piece will be determined on the amount of hair available. 

Loved ones ashes- We require 1 teaspoon to craft your beautiful jewellery. These can be sent in a zip lock bag or small container. Any unused ashes will be returned to you with your finished keepsake jewellery. 

Dried Placenta- One pill or a teaspoon of dried placenta in a zip lock bag will be more than enough to craft with. If your order is multiple items please ask if more will be required. Please only send dried placenta we do not accept wet placenta.

Dried umbilical cord - We will only need a snippet of the umbilical cord stump to craft with, This can be clipped off with scissors into a zip lock bag. If you send more than needed of the cord, the clip and unused stump will be sent back with your keepsake jewellery. Please package your inclusions in a zip lock bag and post in a padded envelope.

PLEASE NOTE:  We advise you to use postage with a tracking number to ensure your special inclusions are safe. We will not be responsible for any inclusions that are lost. 

I use Baby bee hummingbirds milky mummy magic dust. This product is 100% natural, Amy has made and used her formula over the past 5 years. It has been tried and tested by herself and many other makers.

Yes, of course you can. Your keepsake items can be crafted beautifully together to make a unique one of a kind sentimental keepsake jewellery piece. 

Turnaround time is currently 5 weeks from receiving your keepsake inclusions. Unless otherwise stated. If your needing an item sooner you can purchase a 'rush my order' add on for $40.

Care instructions will be included with your jewellery/keepsake. Your keepsake jewellery stone is hand crafted and unique to you this makes it a very special treasure. These instructions will mean your keepsake can last a life time. It is also important to know that your keepsake will not be replaced if damaged or misused, please do not shower or swim with your keepsake on or leave them sitting in direct sunlight or expose it to chemicals (spray tans, body creams), or expose to extreme heat or cold temperatures. Clean your jewellery keepsake with a soft cloth regularly.

Do you offer lay-by? 

Yes, I do. If you are wanting this option then please message to arrange a plan.

Your keepsakes are handcrafted, which means that we may be able to craft very similar pieces. But no, they will not be exactly the same.

When crafting with resin your inclusions will move. You will have some say on where you would like me to try and place your inclusions but the resin and inclusions will shift themselves to where they're going to settle. 

The jewellery is crafted from your inclusions and set in resin, therefore small air bubbles may occur during the curing process. Each piece will be unique, with its own characteristics.

Our jewellery is crafted using 925 Sterling Silver or Stainless Steel findings. For more information on each item please check the individual description.
